Today was the test run of the new endurance training session we run, affectionately referred to as 'Hell Night'. The session went really well, and I thought I'd add this thread to make it more widely known and to extend an invitation to you all to come along and train as conditioning is extremely important to parkour training.
We meet at 7PM in the play area in Victoria park.
A brief guide to the current routine:
Warm up: 1 lap running around the park.
Upper Body Circuit: 3 sets of pull ups The handstand block Lumbar traverse Quadrupedie up and down stairs Another Handstand block 3 sets of climb ups 5 sets of 1 minute deadhangs with 1 minutes rest between sets
Lower body: Half an hour of lower body exercises of your choosing for example: Squats Lunges Calf Raises Sprints Plyometrics
The lower body circuit is concluded with 5 sets of 2 minutes ski sit with 2 minutes rest between sets.
We finish the evening by all going for a relax in the nearby library cafe!
Feel free to post any queries you have about the circuit and definitely come along to take part regardless of your level! There is strong community spirit and a lot of laughs to be had despite the difficult training!

Hahaha, I remember those days (L) I actually really miss it reading through the routine you've posted.. d**n. Thursday's my Max Effort Upper day, sorry brother! At least we're all sharing pain that day

Hey Charlie,
Normally everyone would be there without fail, but I think this week might be an exception. Everyone has been pretty swamped this week with either uni work or everything that we're trying to organise with LPA behind the scenes.
I'm not going to be able to make it I'm afraid, but I don't know about the others - but I'm guessing that everyone will be busy though. Next week for sure!
I will be in Leicester this Saturday though! I have a list of things I want to get on film for a video we are making, so it won't be standard training - more setting up shots and working out sequences. But your more than welcome to come along if you want.

With the competition round the corner, i think i might need to come to this Hell Night, i love ninja warrior, but they have some strength. Hopefully "SPARTAAAANS" will inspire me. See you tomorrow.

I'd just like to post a well done to everyone that came along to Hell Night in the awful conditions tonight! It shows real dedication to your training An extra special well done to those who stayed for the 6th set of ski sit! See you all next week!
