Where did you hear that? I think it's just because Tim's busy with work and Dan's in Wellingborough - but he'll back within a month I think

I'm not doing it anymore I'm afraid guys. It was great training and loved doing it! And thanks to all the guys who came out regularly and stuck it out. You are all legends! I've been doing this since about February, plus a few months before Christmas last year. I've progressed and seen a few people become beasts! That was more than worth it. It is just that at the moment I've decided to step back from it to focus on a few more specific strength goals. I work alot and spend a lot of time organising LPA stuff so I've been experimenting with ways of saving time, condensing my training and making the most of the time that I have. I know Alex is keen to continue it, so if you can get a few guys together to run through the circuit, great! It is just a case that I'm not there to organise it anymore. I've got peoples numbers if you want them Alex. All it really takes is for one or two people to say that they will be doing it no matter what and that way other people will normally come. Whats wrong with doing it on your own Dumi? I've done that a few times in the past. Training is training

I'm definately keen to keep going and can take over from Timmy running it if people want. I did that the other week when he wasn't there, but only Jack and some others were there who had never done Timmy's route.

The play park is now covered in signs saying that according to park by-laws, people over the age of 14 are not allowed to hang around the park if they are not supervising children. That with Tim's departure and Dan's return makes me think it's time for a whole new Hell Night!

I never liked the climbing frame for pull-ups / muscle up as it's too low to the ground

Go on Blane's blog and look for the original Hell Night routine. Pretty sure that park was barely, if at all, included so that might give you some ideas! We used a lot of the old QE though, shame it's been knocked down now. P.s. Agreed Dan!

I know, I was there . And yeah, the park wasn't there at all, but so much of QE has changed since then - the fat bar is almost the only thing left. I have some ideas though...

I think you should include sprints at the start, and exercises like pull ups, dips, Bulgarian split squats and some form of posterior chain movement should be staples in the route. Posterior chain stuff can be single leg glute bridges, or partner up for natural glute-ham raises (resting partner holds persons heels/legs down, other performs GHR) or hyperextensions (lean over wall, resting partner holds lower back, other performs back raise)

Glute bridges are so easy though....
Pull ups and dips have always been staple exercises.
We'll chat at the next LPA meeting.

Hmm, for some people attending hell night they might not be, especially single leg. And if they are - partner glute-ham raises.
I didn't say they weren't staples.
And why discuss it at the LPA meeting? It's not for us to decide, it's not an LPA class/event - it should be discussed here for the community to involve themselves haha
