Ronil, if you're doing that leg workout it's way too much. Squats are your first exercise. Your second exercise should be a choice between Bulgarian split squats, step ups, lunges and reverse lunges. You pick only one exercise as they're all very similar. Pick a different exercise the week after if you like. Third exercise should again be a choice of one: reverse hyperextensions (with added weight) and supine hip thrusts are my favourite. Also, specific what you're actually doing, like sets and reps wise, if you can, instead of just putting '3 to 4 x 8 to 15' haha Annnnnd I'd recommend getting one or two more Parkour days in there! Nice though, good job my friend!

What kind of strength do you want from your core?

|
|
Post by ron hill io on Sept 12, 2010 19:13:50 GMT
just more core strength so that ill have less strain on my back when doing parkour, i want to start doing rolls soon so hopefully a better core strength will help and also i just want to strengthen most of my muscles If that answers your question Dan?

Lower back issues are often due to lack of flexibility in the hip flexors, glutes and hamstrings. Reply with every bit of training equipment you have access to and I'll help you out

P.s. the best core exercises are barbell squats and deadlifts

Ok, how much weight do you have? I've got your mobility and flexibility stuff sorted, once I know how much weight you have we can get started Ronilpie. Could you commit to spending 10-15 minutes stretching, 6-7 days a week? It's not a lot at all
