But can you get more than 12.5kg on 1 dumbbell if you weren't concerned with having them equal weight?
|
|
|
Post by ron hill io on Sept 17, 2010 5:49:55 GMT
nahh i cant get any more, cause it wont fit =/ its one of the dumbells you gotta put weights on and you can only put 12.5 kg max on each

I actually saw some weight plates in Tescos the other day... what the hell! Ronil, if you need some, you might be able to pick something up in the massive Tescos in Hamilton. Here is what I saw in Beaumont Leys: direct.tesco.com/q/R.901-4329.aspx

hmmm but will i need them? cause i already have 2 * 12.5 KG =/ I use 30kg dumbbells for my bulgarian split squats, so you may well need more!

Post by ron hill io on Sept 17, 2010 18:01:04 GMT
will i be able to do squats with 30 kg weight?

DumbellS <------ I use two 3x2=60 And that's bulgarian split squats not back squats. for back squats you can lift more.

surely if 60kg is good for you, about 25 kg with 2 dumbells is great for me?

It's more complicated than that, best thing to do is have a go and see how hard it is for you That'll help Joe write your routine too

You NEED to buy more weights, that's the only problem. Take a photo of your dumbbell set for me. If it's all good I'll just give you some of mine.
I'll put it together for you now.
