hi, I'm john, i did a about 3 months of free running back in college, if it wasn't for an unfortunate accident involving a wall and a car i would still be doing it, i tried to jump from a wall over a car and land on a smaller wall, a little slip in concentration, i misjudged the jump, caught the top of the car with my left foot and slammed into the smaller wall, but after a LOT of time off i think it's about time i dusted of my trainers and climbed a few walls, does any one know if there are any good free running hot spots in Nottingham that would be awesome

Here I am Well done on on finding this forum John! There is a good scene in Nottingham and lots of guys out training. There is a lot of spots too, mostly around the city center, but I can't seem to find a list of them anywhere. The best thing to do would be to get involved with the community and just go along to a jam/training session. Check out www.parkournottingham.co.uk, I know those guys have a weekly session on a Saturday in the town centre, so that might be a good starting point. I also really recommend getting in touch with Urb-Rev if you can, they are a good group and all very friendly guys who could show you around and give you advice as your finding your feet with Parkour. Although there website seems to be down at the moment... so getting in touch might be tricky. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know!
