nope, this isn't actually doing any good.
70 a day is excessive at my level, it seems. So far I've done 900 in 16 days, and I don't feel any better than when I started, if anything, I just feel a little tired as it puts so much more strain on my body than press-ups.
I'm switching to Recon Ron's pull-up program which I've always gotten on with as a nice base for numbers. Will do a couple of weeks under what I can every day(ish) for the next month.
Then after that I'll try to do either some press-ups or pull-ups every day, as it does make a big difference to overall health and energy levels and does help with tendons, but 70 is too big a number for pulling power!

Well if your falling short on the numbers, and want to hit the 2000, I can blast out a load with you one day if you like? I know it isn't quite the point, but it will still be fun to do 500 in one day or some similar number.
